29 May – Where is the city of Lund heading for the future?

Curious about where the city of Lund is heading for the future?

The amount of people commuting is growing, as well as the city of Lund. The strategy for the city is to develop in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way and Lund is now constructing a tramway. The tramway will reach from Lund Central to ESS/Science Village. Lund is expanding in the north and east part of the city, where MAX IV is situated and Brunnshög and Science Village are being developed. Many people will be commuting daily to work and to get home.

Kristina Strand Larsson and Catarina Axelsson Lindow, communicators from the city of Lund, will explain about the construction of the tramway and the city’s plans for infrastructure and accessibility.

Come listen to a presentation about how the City of Lund works towards a new vision Lund creates the future – with knowledge innovation and openness. The vision serves as a springboard and guide for our 10 000 employees, both in our everyday work and in long-term strategic development. Lina Rudin will talk about the aim of the vision, the City of Lund today and how openness and trust in one another are keys to find solutions for today’s and future challenges.
