Occupational SFI (Yrkes-SFI) is Swedish language education with a focus on professional language. The courses start at different levels of Swedish and can be combined with vocational or employment training, as well as with higher education. They also provide an opportunity to learn how the labor market and certain professions operate in Sweden. The aim of Yrkes-SFI is to shorten the time to employment or entrepreneurship.
Mirlinda Iberdemaj will discuss the different types of Yrkes-SFI courses you can take, how to apply for them, and why they may be more useful for you than a regular SFI course. She can also answer your questions concerning compensation and financial support.
In addition, Axel Wallin, founder of Eos Language Café and speaker of six languages, will share his experiences from learning languages, with a particular focus on how the process can be broken down into achievable steps, and how these can be accomplished in an enjoyable manner.
